Are energy expertise mandatory??

Energy expertise CECB est demandée dans le canton de Fribourg et Vaud lors d’une transaction immobilière ou d’une rénovation du bâtiment. In the other cantons, it is not mandatory, but strongly recommended.

Energy expertise CECB PLUS is required when the amount of the grant request exceeds 10’000 CHF for the canton of Friborg, Neuchâtel, Geneva and Valais.

Documents to provide us

• Les plans d’architecture du bâtiment, especially the ratings. En cas d’absence de plans, an added value is charged.
• Other documents if available : energy proof produced for the building permit application and existing CECB.

The Buildings Program

The Buildings Program is financed jointly by the confederation and the cantons, the aim being to improve the energy efficiency of the Swiss building stock.

Since 2017, the building program is entirely managed by the cantons. They have defined a common model for allocating subsidies while each adapting it to their energy policy.

Homeowners can apply for financial aid for the following cases:

• Des subventions pour les bâtiments ayant reçu leur permis de construire avant l’an 2000, dans l’intention d’améliorer leur enveloppe thermique et de remplacer leur système de chauffage peu écologique par un système renouvelable, ou un raccordement à un système de chauffage à distance.
• Des subventions pour les bâtiments neufs, dans le but de leur apporter une performance énergétique globale supérieure aux exigences légales.
• Des subventions pour la création d’un nouveau réseau de chauffage à distance (CAD), ou l’agrandissement CAD établi afin de desservir des bâtiments existants.
